Pullulan polysaccharide is a water-soluble microorganism amylose which produced by strains of aureobasidium and assemble to dextrose and Xanthan gum.Pulllan polysaccharide is a linear amylose made of repeated maltotriose units which connected bya-1,4- and interconnected via-1,6 link-ages. It is a kind of characteristic polysaccharide, which was first found by R.Bauer in 1938.The molecular weight is between 104-4.8×104 to 2..2 × 106(The average molecular weight of Commodity pullulan is 2× 105,pullulan is mainly composed by 480 maltotriose).

APPLICATION: Pullulan polysaccharide is water-soluble viscidity one which finished in white granular solids. Because of its good ability in forming membrane,fibroblasts,gas resistance,adhesion,easily process,and non-toxic properties,it has been widely used in medicine,food,light industry, chemical,petro-chemical and other fields.Pullulan polysaccharide is mainly used in following areas:
(1)Filler bond and forming agent in pharmaceutical industry,cosmetics.
(2)Conditioner and thickener to improve food quality.
(3)Water-soluble package materials to prevent oxidation.
